Biography
Dr. Shivakumar M., Professor of Aquatic Biology has completed his PhD with Aquaculture specialization at the age of 25 years from Karnataka Animal and Fisheries Sciences University. He was aquaculture consultant before joining the Animal University dealing with shrimp seed production and farming. His major research work is on stunted fish seed production, reclamation of saline and alkaline soils through aquaculture. He has published more than 20 papers in reputed journals and 12 books related to fisheries and aquaculture.
